I remember turning to see why the car coming up behind us was honking repeatedly as I walked with Ranee down Gorham St. toward downtown in the summer of 1995, only to see Jen and Tina pass us with a Just Married sign on the back of their car.

I remember the smell of the permanent solution caused my eyes to water.

I remember that my mother gave Louise and me permanents every few years until we were out of high school.

I remember Dad bringing home a TRS-80 from his school (for the summer?  early 1980's?), which was the first time I can recall interacting with a computer.

I remember that my mother liked chocolate shakes and onion rings from Sonic.

I remember Dad telling us that in college some friends used to tease him by singing a little jingle that went "Daniel loves to worry, Daniel loves to fret.  But most of all, he loves Jeanette."

I remember playing Asteroids and Space Invaders and Pac-Man and Donkey Kong on Chris's Atari in the 1980's.

I remember as a young child of around seven years old visiting Uncle Paul and Aunt Bobbie when they lived in Joplin. My family must have taken my Intemann Grandparents for a visit. Right before bed, a scorpion bit my cousin Larry who was just a toddler at the time. My Grandma Intemann put bluing on it to take away the pain.

i remember my mother ate a lot of weird food combinations (in addition to chocolate pudding on toast): gravy on chocolate cake, pickled pig's feet, pickles with dessert, jelly in coffee...

I remember getting a call in Green Bay from my boss saying my coworker Mike, whom I'd tried (not hard enough) to get sent home earlier because he seemed groggy and not well, had flipped his van and was in the hospital.
